Every broom is individually crafted on a 1800s broom machine.  The straw is a sorghum plant, commonly known as broom-corn.  The hardwood handle is handcrafted and rounded with a spoke have on a shingle-maker's bench.

Each broom is unique and each contains a hook fashioned form a square nail retrieved during the restoration of the historic c. 1865 Schick Barn.

Proceeds from each sale help fund the ongoing restoration of the barn.
